Recurring system issue

We have been using Sqaure for about 2 years and overall are very happy, but I wanted to ask if there is a known system update, etc. at 3 PM MST, as with every device (phone, tablet, and now terminal )we have, seems to lock up for 1-2 min everyday right around 3 PM MST. Sometimes it clears and other times, we need to restart the app/terminal. Not a huge deal unless we are checking out a customer at that time.

Never heard of that happening before - the POS shouldn't lock up that frequently, especially with multiple devices at a set time. Are all your devices connected to the same network? If so, wouldn't be a bad idea to check with your Internet Service Provider so see if they experience outages around that time. 

 

Reach out to CS to loop them in the mix as well.

Ugh. Just happened and called my ISP and as usual, they blame square and squares says ISP. There is no way to connect an ethernet cable the terminal, so now I am looking at upgrading my router to boost the signal.
