Performance Issue: Transaction Reporting Delayed 11/12/24

Our transactions are showing approved when accepting cash and cards however it's not showing up on the dashboard or on the device used! Anyone else having this issue?

We experienced an issue over the weekend that briefly affected the display of some reports, including transactions and account balances. Rest assured, all payments were correctly assigned to your account and will now be displayed accurately in your reports. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Hey @TheStand70.  There was an outage yesterday that was causing reporting to be delayed.  Also, that outage was affecting reporting of our account balances for some sellers.  However, it was resolved and all of your transactions and funds should be reporting correctly now.  

 

FYI, here is a link to the Square Status Page (issquareup.com).  The outage was reported there as were status updates and resolution.  This is a handy link to bookmark for reference.

YES - it appears as though its been on/off for a while today but solid down for the last 1.5 hours.  Square is reporting NOTHING is wrong.  Ive been on hold/waiting for chat and nothing.   VERY FRUSTRATING.

we are still getting emails for CC transactions which is good but not sure if they are all or not.  NOW we are logging manually all transactions with the transaction code just in case we are off.

the issquaredown.com website for square clearly only shows what they want to post.  It says everything is hunky dory and NO PROBLEMS.  It is THEIR website to communicate out if there are issues.

Yes having the same issue. Someone said they can see their transactions on desktop, but mine aren’t showing up there. Very concerning - we are missing hundreds of dollars of sales from the past hour and a half.

just got an answer in chat.

 

Our product team is aware of the delay when processing transactions and that it is also affecting the reports and posting of the fund in the balance. Rest assured, our team is investigating this in order to determine the reason for the issue and working towards a solution.

I know how important it is to make sure that the payments will be posted; if, when processing the transaction, you reach the confirmation that it was successful, it means that it will be posted in your reports once we have resolved the disruption. However, we also recommend capturing the email's customer to send the digital receipt to your customers.

I just asked this question to tech support.

we are getting approvals for charges, will the be added to our transactions when the problem iscorrected?

 

and this is the reply.

Yes, once the confirmation page is reached out when processing the payment, that means that the payment was completed, so funds will be added to your balance once the issue is resolved.

Same problem here! I been charging cards and i dnt have record of any transactions since 10:08 am. A customer show me their  bank transaction and it didnt go thru on their end but it appeared as transaction aproved. Im not sure  whats going on or how much money we have lost
