New Shipping Format
Bernadette,
I apologize- the POST button was pushed.
Let's start again.
Thank you for getting back to me.
No, I did not set up weights for the products, as I will send out trial samples with each order, per the request of the buyer, so each order would have a different weight. I would enter the weight in ounces and, with the previous system, the prices for the various delivery methods through the USPS would be offered.
Also, USPS First-Class service appears to be no longer offered, and this is my second problem.
I do not require Priority service, and it is quite a bit pricier than what I was paying. If I am forced to use the Priority service, I will have to almost double the shipping costs that I charge my customers, which will put me at a distinct disadvantage in selling.
So, it appears my problem is two-fold:
One, the postage weights from which I can choose are above what I need, and
Two, I appear to not be able to purchase First-Class postage anymore.
I do wish to continue using Weebly, but the postage weight change, along with, it seems, no longer offering First-Class postage rates, both do raise concerns for my store.
Any help would be most greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Randall

If you are using Real Time Shipping you would need to set the weights of each product. However, even when I choose the option to create a label for your pending order and set the weight under 13 ounces, I am given the option for First Class
Does your screen show something different?

Bernadette,
Thanks so much for getting back to me.
I'm not using Real Time Shipping, so that won't pertain.
Now, when I go to Create Shipping Label, the lowest weight it will allow is one pound, and only the various Priority options are shown. Here is a screenshot of what the Shipping Label page looks like:
In the Total Weight of Package column, an option for ounces does not appear, and the First-Class option is not present in the Select Service area. Your screen allowed for those; it seems as if there is something amiss in my viewing.
Any help you might be able to offer me will be most greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Randall

Bernadette,
Also, the weight listed in my screenshot was 0 lbs.; however, the problem does still appear when a weight is listed in that box.
Thanks,
Randall

It's not very intuitive, but type in the ounce->pound conversion instead of using the arrows. For instance, .5 then "enter" and the options should auto refresh.

Sorry, not "enter" you would just click anywhere outside of the weight box.

Bernadette,
Got it; thanks so much.
I'm sure that I did that previously, and it did not accept the fractional weight; maybe my glasses were on upside down.
Any chance that we might get an "ounces" option for weights? Not necessary, but would be nice.
Thanks again for your help.

This new format takes so much more time and its pretty dumb that we cannot just enter 9 ounces if something is nine ounces. No, now we have to figure up the equivalent.

Thanks for the feedback @chatterx. We just released the new labels and every day the team is making tweaks. Some of our agents in support have expressed concern for this as well. Would you or @rwosjo mind creating a feature request here on community? This way more customers can contribute their input. Thanks so much!
