category shows twice

One of my categories is showing twice in shop navigation. one has the items in it and the second says there aren't any items.  How do i get it to stop. when i go to categories there is not 2 "words" categories.

HI, here are the steps to remove.

 

Online Dashboard, Website, Edit Site, Header, Navigation, Navigation Links, click Trash Can to Remove navigation link

its not main navigation. in header. This is the side where categories are in shop. Even when i go to the main shop page in edit site and go to categories you can see that there is only one category "words" but it is showing twice . it is a glitch. i would like to fix. I am assuming square needs to fix the glitch. but thanks for responding

HI, thank you for the additional screenshot.  You can review all your Categories on the Online Dashboard.

 

Online Dashboard, Items, Site Categories (*note: any category with an arrow before it can be expanded to reveal sub-categories)

i have done that. there is only 1 actual category "Words" but its showing up twice on my website. Can Square please help me fix it. it is obviously a glitch of some sort. thanks

here is a screenshot of the the categories in my dashboard. as you can see, there is only One category "Words" but going to my website online, "Words" as a category, shows twice. Once with the items in that category and then the other is empty. i have attached 2 screenshots. one is my dashboard categories. and the other is a screenshot of my website as it appears online. See that the "Words" category is showing up twice for no reason. Can square please fix this glitch. thank you

HI, you can try to contact Customer Support with this link.  Monday to Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm PST.

You will get a few options to contact, click Call Us, a new browser window will open with phone number and customer code.

 

You must be logged into your account and is best on a laptop or desktop.  Phone app sometimes displays unavailable at times.
