I've moved your post to this thread as it sounds like what you're experiencing is related to the expiration date issue we had our engineers look into, @mdr_moore. Please take a moment to update the Square app on your device(s), and things should starting working as expected for you!

I am having this problem still. It won't let me key in expiration dates if they have a 2 in them - most of the time. NOt always. My system is 100 % updated. Please advise.

Hey there @Basketqueenviv -
On an iOS device:
- Open the App Store > tap your profile icon.
- Scroll down to see pending updates.
- Tap Update All.
On an Android device:
- Open Google Play > tap My games and apps.
- Locate and tap the Square app > Update.

I have a card that is an 02/22 expiration date that I’m trying to manually enter as the customer is remote. The app won’t let me input a 2 once I’ve put in the month, like it’s saying it’s expired because it’s past February 2020? I’m not sure how to fix this, since the card is still good for two years?

I moved your posts to an existing thread that details an old glitch that happened some time ago.
Please update your apps and you shouldn't continue to have this issue with manually entering cards!

I'm not showing an update available in the app store, I was prompted to change my passwords, restarted the ipad just to see if that would help, I can't change the password, my boss isn't here change it. I still cannot manually type in and expiration date for ex: 01/24... not allowing the 2. Help!
