My product photos are not synching on my website from my square inventory added to items.

I use square at vendor events to manage the invetory I purchase for these shows.  I recently created the website to add to facebook for my customers to shop from my home inventory as well as the corporate website with the rest of the catalog.  When I created the site, the photos of my products synched with the website but anything new that I add is not showing the picture.  How do I synch the photos from the items added in square to the website?

@MV_Michelle A couple of questions for you:

  1. Which eCommerce website did you sync with Square? 
  2. Are images not appearing when you create a new item to Square? Or when you add a new image (or add an additional image) to an existing item?

I am using Weebly within SQUARE.  When I created the site all my images transferred to the site - but as I add new items, only the description is showing - no images.  Not sure why when I create the site all the existing item images were pulled into the site but anytime I add a new product the image will not transfer with the product details.

Hi @MV_Michelle

 

Were you a "Start on Square" Seller by any chance? 

 

If so, images only sync when you first create your site. After that, images need to be added within Weebly. The Image sync only happens the first time you make your store.

I am having troubles with creating my online website/store. The items from my point of sale have pictures loaded and associated with the items, but when I go to my laptop to update my website, the pictures are not showing in the item catergory. It has a description and inventory count, but the pictures are not syncing or showing up.

Pics will sync as long as Sync Product Images is toggled on from Settings > Square Sync. Take a look at Isabelle's screenshot

Square has made several changes to Item Sync since the last post on this thread where we now include picture sync along with item sync. If your pictures are not syncing I suggest reaching out to our eCommerce team. Please reach out by phone when you have a moment by logging into your Square account and heading here.
