Hello, I'm new to using square as a website builder.
I'm trying to set up my website, and have run into a few walls with setting it up.
There doesn't seem to be a way to add a item page that has a list of all my items in one place. Neither can I add categories, the option is grayed out. The "order now' button at the top will only allow me to link to a particular item, and not just a item page.
I can add items under 'item pages' but there doesn't seem to just be one page for all the items, much less categories for these items.
I can add more sections to the home page, change backgrounds and texts on the screen but nothing else is functioning. If I add a button to one of the sections, it only lets me link to a single item.
If I add navigation links to the top of the site, I can get it to link to a story page, but I can't get it to link to items. It only allows me to link to a single item and not a page of them.
I read this on another forum and it stated this
"Are you currently using the Order Online template? If you are, you'll need to click the gear icon on that page and change the template type to Shop All. Once you do that it will let you add category pages."
but I don't have that option. The gear icon doesn't have a change template selection.
I'm not trying to make the website that complicated. All I want is a Home, Contact, and a Item Page. I would like to have it where people can choose from a drop down menu for a few categories of items,. Such as item page category 1 , item page category 2, item page category three, but if that's not an option on square then I'll be happy if I can just have one page with all my items at this point.
