I am having problems with e-gift card sales online. In the transaction it shows the amount for e-gift card purchased, the receipt info, etc but in the dashboard it’s showing Unknown Name. Please tell me square requires the buyers name and email at least when purchasing an e-gift card? How else would it be sent or received otherwise? Please help, I want to keep track of the e-gift transactions thoroughly. How do I prevent this from happening again?

The recipient's email can be found when clicking the blue egift card hyperlink in transaction details.
As for capturing the cardholder's name, it's up to the card issuer whether or not they want to release that information (if the customer isn't already added to your directory). Each card issuer has their own policies that we don't have any say over.

There isn’t a blue hyperlink... I’m viewing from mobile and also from iPad- would desktop make a difference? I’ve also endured both devices app have been updated in case that would affect anything.
