How do I create a gift receipt?

I have customers purchasing Gifts and would like a gift receipt with out a price.   How do I accomplish this with Square?

Thank you but how do I get the product details to show on the gift receipt. All it shows is the receipt number so the person getting the gift has no idea what it is.

At this time the goal with gift receipts is to offer the flexibility of returns or exchanges. In my experience, most of the stores out there will provide you with a barcode or a receipt number on paper. However, I have also experienced stores that detail what was bought. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request. 

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

We have a terminal that we connect to an iPad. Is there a way to get gift receipts? Right now we only have the option of a refund or new receipt.

 This is a basic feature that should be available as part of Square for Retail. Part of being a retailer is allowing people to gift. Part of gifting is gift receipts. These should be available virtually and printed.. really not a big ask.
