1. [New] Passcodes improvements

🏷 Square Team Management

You and your team can now view your POS personal passcodes on the Team App! Available now to all businesses using iOS and Android. Team members typically first receive their passcode by accepting either their email or phone number invitation and going through the onboarding flow. Now, after signing up, they can also view their personal point of sale passcode by signing into the Square Team App in  More > Personal POS Passcode.

2. [New] Forecasted Labor Costs

We are excited to introduce our newest feature, forecasted labor costs. Available with any Shifts plan or Retail, Restaurant, and Appointments Plus or Premium plan. We understand that many of you operate on thin margins with labor costs making up a large proportion of overall expenses. You look to Shifts to manage your team’s time and attendance and have better control of your labor costs.

3. [New] Earn up to $1000 for each new business you refer to Square

Today, we’re excited to introduce a new way to share Square. While we’ve had a referral program for quite some time, today in the US, we’re introducing an updated program that will allow you to get rewarded (in cash) for each new business you refer to Square. Sign up for the new Square Referral Program, refer a fellow business not using Square, and receive up to $1,000 when they use Square for payments.

4. [Coming Soon] New Staff Dashboard

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our unified Staff Dashboard, designed to simplify your experience with Square Staff products and features. This update will simplify how you manage your team, schedules, timecards, payroll, and more. All Square Staff products now reside within a single view in the Square Dashboard.

5. [Improved] Simplified experience for adding employees to Payroll

We’re happy to announce a change that will make adding team members to payroll much easier. 😀 In the past, you would have needed to fill out a long and overwhelming page of the team member’s employment info, compensation, PTO, sick leave, time tracking, benefits, team member’s banking and tax details, and more.

7. [New] Form entries in Online add-on

🏷️ Square Online

Adding a contact form to your Square Online site makes it easy for visitors to get in touch with you while keeping your personal contact information private. These forms allow visitors to quickly do things like ask about your items or services, request event information, ask for a custom quote, and much more. To help you stay on top of your form entries, we’re now surfacing these time sensitive form entries directly in the Online applet in our POS apps, allowing you to view and quickly respond to customers using Square Messages.
