1. [Improvement] Enhancements to Marking an Invoice as Paid

🏷 Square Invoices

We’ve recently made some updates on how you can mark an invoice as paid within Square Dashboard. With this update, a new “Mark as paid” option will appear when you select an invoice. Here you’ll be able to capture any payments you receive outside of Square Invoices (like Cash, Checks or payments taken through Square POS). You’ll still have the ability to record a Credit/Debit card transaction by selecting the “Take a payment” option.

2. [New] Meet The Check Out — A retail release by Square

🏷 Square for Retail

It’s your home base for all things retail on Square — new products and features as well as updates to existing ones. Whether you're looking to elevate product photos, expand the types of products you sell, or just save time on monotonous retail tasks, you can now find out about all these tools and more.

3. [New] Flexible Paper Width Printing on Register

We’re thrilled to announce that flexible printing with different paper widths is now available on your Square Register.

4. [New] Square Shifts now supports Shift Covers!

🏷 Square Staff & Payroll

We heard you and made improvements to shift coverage. Square Shifts, Square Staff for Crew Legacy Sellers, and Appointments Premium (which includes Square Shifts) now supports shift covers, which provides teams the flexibility to adjust their schedules without needing to take a shift in return via a shift trade.
