3. [Improvement] Introducing Scheduling Gantt View

🏷️ Square Dashboard, Square Staff & Payroll

(also available in 🇨🇦🇦🇺, and 🇬🇧)

One gap for creating schedules has been the inability to visualize scheduled shifts on an hour-by-hour level to assess coverage. Until now, each shift was represented as an identical block on the schedule rather than across a time scale making it hard for sellers to spot gaps in staffing. Now, sellers can easily assess coverage and make seamless adjustments to their schedule to dial up or down staffing each day.

4. [Announcement] Fresh KDS Offers the Ability to Stay on iPad KDS

🏷 Android

As you should have seen by now, we are sunsetting Square KDS on iPad, which means that to keep using the same app, you need to migrate to Android and redownload from the Google Play store. If you are strongly against moving to Android as a hardware or operating system option, we wanted to flag that you do have the ability to migrate over to our preferred partner, Fresh KDS.

You can now get a birds-eye view of your entire business’ performance. Sales trends reporting can be used to get an idea of how your business is doing by helping you identify strengths and weaknesses within your organization. It can also help you get comparative insights between each of your locations to understand how your franchisees are performing.
