We’re excited to announce that we have made improvements and expanded the new hire onboarding feature to additional Square subscriptions!
Sellers with Square for Restaurant sellers with Shifts Plus capabilities, Legacy Retail Plus, Appointments Premium, Shifts Plus, and Team Communication in the US are now also able to request onboarding tasks and documentation from their team members. Restaurants Plus and Retail Plus sellers in the rest of the countries (UK, IE, ES, FR, AU, JP) can also now use this feature.
Other improvements include:
- New hires can review documents
Now you can upload documents such as your employee handbooks, standard operating procedures, or other documents for your team members to reopen and view on the web or in their Square Team app. - Instructions to guide new hires through onboarding
Include specific instructions with each onboarding task. Team members can see these instructions as they review and upload documents assigned to them in their onboarding checklist.
