Set up free shipping on specific items?
I read in another post that setting up free shipping for certain items is not currently available, is it something that can be built into Weebly? Or is there a work-around for it?
Thanks for your time to answer.

Hi @GaryDawson The ability to assign a shipping rule per product or category is still a feature request at this time. It's something that many people are requesting, and I have no doubt that it will be an option soon. Unfortunately, I don't have any sort of eta to provide. What type of shipping rule do you need to assign? Maybe we can come up with a work-around in the meantime.

I am also looking for a work around for this. I have a specific item where the price structure includes a unique shipping cost, so I want to apply "Free Shipping" to the specific item. Would love some suggestions, as right now I can't sell this item online. Thank you!

One work around for this is to make a weight-based shipping rate that is free, and then make the weight required either zero or something super, super high. If you do the former, make sure all the items in your store have weights set except those you want to provide free shipping for. If you do the former, then make sure that only the items that give free shipping for have weights entered that are large enough to hit that weight requirement.

Did anyone have any luck trying this? I set everything to .1 pound and the item I wanted to offer free shipping for 50 lb. I went in and set shipping rate 50 lb and over free shipping. For some reason it did not work.

I can take a look for you @RCF. What is your site url and the name of the item?

Hi I would like to assign some of my products to have free shipping, but cannot see a way of assigning at product level, I can see some old posts here that it was being considered to be implemented, but can't see anything since, has it been implemented? Or what is the best work around?

Hi @lanabanana I moved your post over to this thread where other community members have discussed this.
It's not possible to setup shipping rules by item, but we may be able to give you some work around suggestions if you give us some more clarification about what you are trying to do. 😊

Hi, thanks for moving this, I sell a number of products, that are either postage on top, which I would like the customer to select either first class or second class and pay for the postage. I also have a number of products, that are postage included in the price, and therefore there is not a selection and cost associated to it, how can I do this?

Thank you for clarifying. We do not have a super easy way to do this at the moment, but I believe it is something we are working on.
In the meantime, you may be able to set this up manually depending on the items. What type of items would have postage included? Is there anything in particular that differentiates them from the items you would charge postage for? i.e. price point or weight?

As in I sell jewellery that have postage options of either 1st class or 2nd class postage, but I also have costume items that are cheaper and would like to offer them as a option that the price shown is the total price inclusing postage?
