Shop Items Limit
Hi Adam,
It's saying I have a limit of 25 items, I have deleted items no longer sold and now it says I have 15 items in the shop so I would assume I now have 10 available places for new items but still it says I need to upgrade the account or the new products will show as unavailable? why is this?
Regards
Craig

Hi,
I'm having the same issue with https://www.jdstreesurgeonsedinburgh.co.uk/
This is a new e-commerce platform on an existing website and it's been a Pro account for many years, why am being told to upgrade and my products are showing as unavailable? The item limit should be 25 but I'm having issues with 6 items.
Regards, Craig.

Each variation of an item counts toward the 25 limit. I wonder if you could use Modifiers instead. The item Christmas Wreaths 14-16" for example.
Try creating a modifier for the colors, then an additional modifier for the shipping option.

Hi Bernadette,
Thanks for your reply, on the JDS Tree Surgeons website the Item list total is showing as "six items"
As far as I'm aware there are no limits on variations? surely it's the items, not the variations that are being counted towards the total?
This is from the Weebly support website:
"Note: Each item on your website can have up to 5 variations to start, but you can increase the variation limit per item to 120 by upgrading your site to the highest-paid plan. For any item that exceeds these numbers within your current paid plan, consider separating it into multiple items so that each one has fewer variations."

I agree that it is not very clear, but variations do count towards your 25 item limit. Did you try using the modifier option?

Hi Bernadette,
Looks like it's all sorted, I took your advice and used the other option.
It is certainly not clear that the variations count towards the item total, especially are the Item counter display does not match the true amount of space being used.
Kind regards,
Craig.
