Microsoft Edge not processing orders!

I've just had a customer who was trying to place an order but couldn't!

Transpires she was using Microsoft Edge and PayPal and it wouldn't work for her. Luckily, she persevered and used the card payment facility (Square) and it worked.  

I had the same issue with another customer using Internet Explorer a couple of weeks ago - he used another browser to process the order (thank god for persistent customers, eh!).

I've seen this flagged up on Weebly as an issue a while back (can't seem to find the post now!). So can someone please confirm for me that they're aware of this problem and something is being done about it?! Do you have a lead time for a solution? (customers patience only last so long).

Hi @Muttley I'm sorry your customers are having troubles checking out. It looks like the Internet Explorer checkout bug was resolved last week. I'm not sure if Edge would be a separate issue, or if it was a Paypal error. Did the customer provide more details on any type of error that was shown on the screen?

They said when they tried to place the order in Paypal it was just taking them right back to my order page and not processing the order - pretty much the exact same issue that other customers were experiencing with Internet Explorer, but this time with Microsoft Edge.

It worked when they used the card payment facility, but it was almost a lost order for me!

I believe they are one and the same browsers in some way, so maybe that is why there's still an issue? (just something a customer told me when he was having the problems with IE).
