Or only display it on certain pages? The ecommerce section of the site is seperate and password protected and I only want to display the cart icon on that page.

You can include CSS overrides to a specific page by adding them to that page's Header Code field (Pages > page name > SEO Settings > Header Code). I don't know what class or ID would be used for the cart, but if you find it in code you can include it in a manner like this:

#cart { display: none !important; }

I do not understand any of these solutions. Why can't I simply remove the page, or click a delete prompt? I don't know IT and don't think I should have to to use this product. Have pity on non-technies! Meantime, I get complaints that my cart doesn't work.

Hi @DQ If you are trying to remove the cart from your website, follow these instructions. From the main dashboard, click Settings > Checkout > Advanced Settings, then switch the checkout mode to Buy Now.

I don't see this path "Store/Setup/Setup/General ". Not sure if it has been changed now.

I can only see Edit or Pages or Design or Upgrade or Support.

Hi @SofieC Your settings are a bit different. Click Store on the left hand side of the dashboard. Then Setup>General. You will see a section in the middle of the screen that says General again. In order to remove the cart you will have to select the Buy Now option.

Hey! To remove that, go to Setup > Advanced, click edit, then change your store mode to "buy now".

You need to have a payment method like Square connected on the Checkout page to see Advanced Settings - a very poor user interface - it should not be contingent on whether you've connected to a payment service.

My site doesn't have a "store" and there is no place to switch it to "buy now" I have done everything i have found in the community and the cart will not go away. help please.

Updated steps: From the main dashboard, click on Settings > Checkout, then scroll down to Edit Advanced Settings. Switch the first option to Buy Now, then hit Save in the top right corner.

If you have multiple sites you will need to perform these steps for each site.

Note you will not be able to remove the cart by changing the Checkout mode unless you are connected to a payment method - in this case by Connecting to Square I could get advanced options - appalling user interface.
