Zero price product

I have essentially one product on my site (book I wrote.) I'd like to send a few free copies but I want them to run through my site. So, I duplicated the regularly priced book but changed the price to zero. The free one is hidden from the site. The only way I can put it in the cart and finalize the "sale" is to unhide it temporarily, complete the transaction, and then hide it again. Not that big of a deal, but is there any other way to do this? Thanks

An easier solution might be to make a coupon for 100% off that can be used with your standard book product, @DrT.  You won't need to worry about managing multiple products this way, too.
