Facebook Email Tab

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to suggest an email signup API for Facebook. Mailchimp has a plug in that allows people to join the mailing list from a tab on your business page (on Facebook). As far as I can find, there is not one for Weebly? Not even an outside link to copy into an iFrame or something?

Please let me know if there is, otherwise, please develop one?

@ adam My apologies if this is the wrong place to suggest this... I am looking for an email signup page I can use, on other platforms, that is not directly located on my site.

It is possible to add an email signup form on a  Facebook business page (Tab), if there is an API on the host back end. Does Weebly offer that, in some way?

Ohh, no problem! So you're thinking a tab on Facebook that works with Promote?

Yes! As well as any other platform than my website alone... Ie; personal email link, Google/Facebook/Instagram ads, etc.

I can't add it anywhere else in the site, either. Just the pop up that (in my eyes) is a nuisance to most visitors.

I could see that being pretty useful for people with a strong Facebook presence. Feel free to post that to our Vote on Features board if you'd like us to add that.

Is there any other way to get contact signups, other than on my site? Any plug-ins, et al?

Other than signup forms of different types, I don't think so. Actually, if you have a CSV of email address you can import that into Promote, although that's obviously not something that customers would be able to add information to.

You would think, since Matt made the CGI scripts in 1996, it would be one of the basic inclusions in the Weebly service. Just sayin'...
