why do all reports show more transactions then really took place?
I had tried to help[ out bookkeeping by adding my techs there own label on quick books to run proper reports on quickbooks and make the process faster and less expensive booking and time wise. I implemented this in july and it has been a absolute nightmare. No matter how i run the report it shows more transactions then what i truly billed. It has a untracked team members section that since before i started team members in july back it shows every charge as that. Then in july it only shows my two techs and untracked, then in november it shows me-owner, and both of my techs separate. Now i try and find if they are duplicated in some way giving me almost 10,000 more showing on the report than was actually billed. They are not duplicated. it also shows when doing individual reports on team members by them selfs that the total billed itemized per tech does not add to the same total that is shown! I am about to pull my heart out.

Hi there, @thedentologist. Goodness, I am so sorry to hear about the difficulty generating accurate reports. Reporting is the life-blood of your business, and vital to long-term success. We will do what we can to help you get this resolved.
Just to make sure I am understanding correctly, are you syncing your reporting through QuickBooks? Normally, our third-party integrations are managed by the third party in question - so it may be difficult for us to drill down the issue here on the Community.
Have you brought this to the attention of our Support Team? They should be able to give you some more in-depth troubleshooting, and at the very least, connect you with designated QuickBooks staff for a quicker resolution.

So I have had a problem with the reports side of square for some time now. I was asked by my bookkeeper to help reconfigure the reporting for square because they were spending a lot of time going back through the books to balance them using other reports to find out the square reports were not right. They were showing now on quckbooks 2-3 times the actual income or transactions then really took place on my other account mobiletechshade. That is when I made team members added to my account to see each individuals charges and transactions and offer my techs tips if they recieved them ect.
well it started showing on reports only two of my techs and a seller are line for untracked as well as only two of the three techs. I reached out to support and was told it had been fixed and they said because it was executed in July that it will show the untracked section as well. The problem is it is showing much more money and many more transactions then actually took place in the reports! Any way you spin it it does not add up. Then it makes al other systems for accounting and analytics wrong. I have been told the last call to support that yes they agree it is totally wrong and would need a day to talk with engineering and tech and would get back to me...... I have not received any call or email back!
