I am noticing that Square is charging 6.xx% sales tax when my customers check out. It is set to 6.00% sales tax (I double-checked).
So let's say that my customer buys something for $99. 6% sales tax is $5.94, which makes the total for the customer $104.94. This is the correct total.
In actuality, my customers are being charged $105.93, which is 6% of $99.93. My item is most definitely set to $99.00 even. So where is the error and how can I fix it? I really don't want to do creative bookkeeping in my CRM to adjust for this every single time.
