iPad Keyboard Issues

the keyboard no longer shows up when i want to type.  how do i make it appear when i need to type into the search box?

Hello @commonvinesbos! Can you try the following troubleshooting steps?

  1. Force close the Point of Sale app on your iPad and reopen it.
  2. Sign out of the app and sign back in again.
  3. Turn your iPad off, wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on again.
  4. Check you're using the latest version of the Point of Sale app on your iPad. (Head to the App Store app.)
  5. Delete and reinstall the app from your iPad. (Make sure you know your log in credentials for this too.)

If you're still not seeing the keyboard when you tap on the search field please call our CS team so we can investigate further!
