[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: mobile phone and manual credit card input]
Today I discovered that I could no longer input (manually) credit card information into square on my mobile device. The link is now greyed out with a message that I cannot perform this on my mobile device. This is ridiculous! It creates a whole new problem undermining the ability to use my phone for Manual square transactions.

Hey @ScottinMA which Mobile Square App are you using? I just created test transaction and was able to key in card info manually. Which means this is less likely to be an intentional change and more likely to be a bug/ghost on your device.
One definite thing to try before panicking is the nuclear option — sign out of your Square mobile app, delete and reinstall it, sign back in and see if that clears up the issue. The fact that I can do this indicates it odd device related, unless you can’t process ANY cards, mobile or otherwise.
