Why are my inventory variations showing as "0?"

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Item with multiple variations showing "Sold Out" on online store if only one variation has stock = 0]

 

We have moved to online store as a primary ordering point since reopening. To "hide" some variations we mark them to track inventory and set them to zero (0). This has worked for the past week but today I noticed that the item is showing as Sold Out on the online store. This should not be happening and is not for some other items. An example: we have Coffee in Regular, Large, and Refill. I've marked Refill to a stock of "0" so it can't be ordered online. Today the online store is showing Coffee as sold out. We are not tracking inventory for Regular and Large so they are NOT sold out. This happened with 2 different items today. We were forced to actually remove the variation which I do not want to have to do.

Just to make sure I'm understanding, what online store are you using? Weebly, Wix, Go Daddy?

 

Also, can you provide us the URL for your website? Thank you!

@Alex_ My site is the Square Online Store via Weebly. The url is: fusionbrew.square.site

I have put back the Refill on my Coffee item. There are three variations: Regular, Large, and Refill. I turn "Track Stock" on for the Refill variation and set the stock value to "0". I had done this a week ago as well and did not see a problem until a few days ago when I noticed that it was marking the entire Coffee Item as "Sold Out" on the store front. I currently have ordering turned off until this evening so I don't get orders today as we are closed (another issue we are having).

@Alex_ In order to enable our store for online orders starting tonight I changed the Regular and Large variations to Track Stock and set the item count to "999". Now the online store is showing "Only a few left!"  which would not be a valid alert. It seems there was some recent change made for this indicator. Please let me know if there is something else I can do to assist in getting this corrected.

Hi @vhovar,

 

Thank you for your patience. Our Weebly Team has informed us that you can disable these alerts from appearing on your store by going to SOS > Settings > General > Item Settings.

 

Also, did you recently upgrade or change any of your existing Weebly plans/subscriptions? Hope this tip with the settings helps.
