What happened to all my inventory?

I imported 5 items into my inventory, now everything is gone! Can someone tell me what happened and how to fix it. I had Thousands and thousands of dollars worth of inventory. Help please.

Hi there, @Bshannon18 - our Support team will be able to give you hand with this one. We'll take care of you! When you have a moment, please reach out directly by logging into your Square account and heading here to give us a call.

 

It's sounding like when you imported these 5 items, you may have selected Replace Item Library (which will delete all existing items and replace them with your uploaded items), rather than selecting Modify Item Library to add these 5 new items. Learn more about importing items here.

Thank you so so much, That is what happened, I thought if I chose that it would prevent duplicates, but now I know not to touch that button. LOL Thanks again

Yep - next time you need to add items to your existing inventory, just be sure to select Modify Item Library and you'll be good to go 😊
