Terminal receipt blank when printing

I have a brand new terminal however when I try to print the paper is blank

So sorry for the trouble with printing on your Terminal! I have worked extensively on our Hardware Team previous to becoming a Community Manager here, and I think I may know what is happening here.

 

Would you mind removing the paper roll from the Terminal and flipping your roll 180 degrees? It sounds like the roll may be inserted backwards.

 

Let me know if that solves the problem for you. I will keep an eye out for your response!

Got it! Thanks for trying that. Interesting, indeed. Lets try the following steps:

  1. Open the printer door, located above the screen on the tallest end of your Terminal.
  2. Unroll your printer paper slightly, set it on the printer door with the unwound paper on top, and the loose end facing out of the terminal, away from your screen.
  3. Ensure your paper follows the curve of the roll and it is not bent. Close your printer door and tear off the excess paper. Be sure to tear your paper by pulling the receipt toward the screen of the Terminal, tearing your paper the other direction can cause the printer door to open.
