As the title States, my reports are all kinds of wonky and just.. wrong. The only number that seems to be right 100% of the time is their processing fees and what gets paid to my account, but this is overall very troublesome. I need to keep two sets of books and can't rely on square to tally my information correctly come tax time or when I have to pay on sales tax collected. I'm worried their info against mine is going to cause an issue.
I have had a sale for $215.18 that also included a 15% discount. Under gross sales as $204, not $215.18. Reports does correctly identify the 15% off as $182.90, but incorrectly shows the included 6% sales tax as $10.35 when it is actually $10.97. The Service sold was one I had saved under Services, I double checked the taxes and all, it's all correct, but they underreported Gross sales and sales taxes.
Another service payment for $100 flat, gross sales is $94.34 and taxes are $5.66... not $6 which is 6% of $100...
Another Service for $135 which was Cash not card shows as $127.36 and sales tax as $7.64... together they total $135, like how all the others match up to the actual total, problem is, it's the wrong tax amount! It should be $8.10.
A few times discounts weren't applying correctly either. Is this a bug? A general issue? How can I fix this?? I really like square overall with all they offer, but this is going to force me to change processors if I can't fix it.

@MPG It is super hard to diagnose this without seeing the actual transactions and how the taxes are set up and the tax rate etc.
from your $100 example, it looks like you have the tax set up to be included rather than added on. that math works out exactly. actually, I just did your other examples and I'd say the taxes are for sure set up to be with tax included rather than add the tax to the item price.

Woah! I didn't even think of that. I do have it included. So the $100 sale DOES work out to $94.34 plus $5.66 sales tax.
So if I had the sale set as $106 it would properly break down to $100 gross and $6 sales tax. Duh.
Thank you!
