Referral Program not working
A friend signed up for Square a few weeks ago and neither one of us have received free processing. I was able to send her a referral link to her email, and she clicked that link to sign up so we would be connected. I haven't seen any signs of free processing in her account or mine. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Please help!

This is what's going on with me right now. There are 2 referrals reward not applied to my account. its the only ONLY reason why I'm using square instead of PayPal.

the transaction fee is charged at the time of sale and the free processing is credited to your account on deposit.

That does not answer why the $1000 referral reward is not in the balance (found in Help>GetFreeProcessing>RemainingFreeBalance)

it doesn't answer it because it was a question, asking if it showed up since that is the first question to start with. so you answered it doesn't show up, now we can try other questions, a referral is only valid if the new seller you referred activated their new Square account using your referral link in order for a referral reward to be issued. anyone with an existing square account doesn't count as a new account.
beyond that, you could call customer service and see what they see on your account as we can't see anything about your personal account here.

Depending on your specific account, you might not have phone support available, or you might have limited hours of support. If your account doesn't have phone support, Email is the only way to communicate so that there is proper documentation of the conversations.
