Question about Square QR code ordering for a DINE-IN ONLY restaurant.
We are trying to set up QR code ordering with the QR code on each table, customer scan, place an order and pay. We do not offer pick-up. It sounds simple, there are so many sources of how-to's, but I cannot get it started for some reason.
I have created an Online store(site) with Square. But items were not showing up unless I enable each items available for "pickup". So when I found out about that(there is actually a thread mentioning about this, whether true or not), just to show the items on the website, I bulk edited the items and turned all items available for pickup. They all showed up. Hooray.
But then of course, the website acts like to-go offering online website(asking pickup location etc.). That's not what I want.
What am doing it wrong?? These are the current set-up.
- Items are assigned to the right location
- assigned to a category
- have price
- Where it's sold(online site): toggled at the right square website
- are "Visible"
- Fulfillment: "self-serve ordering" enabled (+ pickup, as per I mentioned above)
Also, I'm having trouble getting rid of "Most popular item" window. I found How-to's but I don't see "Item list" or "Arrange or add items" button as they suggest.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

@Sancho2025 Just to make sure you have followed all the setup steps, make sure you have followed all these instructions:
Now, I hate support articles that basically say go to the beginning. But what you may be seeing here is also the way the website operates in the "
Create or switch to the order online template. Learn how to create an ordering page for your Square Online site."
The online ordering site is different (I prefer retail, but it has it's own quirks, and doesn't work with qr code ordering). You can do some re-arranging in your online site to get it to look better.
