Hey Everyone!
We are a food truck and have noticed with the new “pay later” feature that sometimes orders that haven’t been closed out by the customer will not show as paid until hours later. To get around waiting for the orders to show as paid we tried to mark them as “completed” today. Now the orders are listed in our “completed” section as “cancelled” and when we try to close them on square online there is an error message saying “something went wrong”. Can anyone help here? None of the orders that say “cancelled” under “completed” are showing up in our gross sales BUT when we look at each order in the app there’s payment info. When we look at the same order in square online it says “pending” and no billing details are shown. Did we just lose out on all these sales? Normally we’d call square but it’s the weekend : / Hoping that we can solve this and not lose out on sales. Thanks y’all!

This is something that our Square Online must look into as we are unable to see into the Pay Later aspect of sale but they can. If you haven't already, your best bet is to get in touch with us directly, so that a member of our Square Online team can dig in with you.
