Items images, ratio setting

1:1 sure doesn't work with my images. I have it set to 4:3. They look good in the "Shop All' listing but when you click on an image to view more info the image is cut off. Can't view the whole piece in the window to see the shape of it. Can anyone help with this??? It doesnot even help to reduce images to 7 or 800, they are presently all at 1000 x ratio.

Thank you for help with this. Julie

HI, there are a few places to adjust images within the Editor.

Online Dashboard, Website, Edit Site

Featured Items, scroll down to Item Images, select Shape

click Page:Home at top, select Shop All, Item List, Item Images, select Shape

scroll down to select category, Item List, Item Images select Shape

scroll down to Image Pages, select ANY item, select Item Details, Image Gallery select Shape

Hope This Helps!

Is it possible to have some Item images 1:1 and other Items with a 3:2 ratio, or is this a global setting?

Terri

I saw that but this seems to apply the selected ratio to images on all pages. My question was about using a mixture of image ratios across my site.

I think I may have to add whitespace to some of my images to get round this constraint.
