How do I eliminate duplicate "stores" ?

For some reason my Square "Store" has two "locations" and I cannot find a setting to turn off the second "unpublished" location. Can someone point me to the proper place to make the necessary changes?

HI, I believe you you can do that within Square Dashboard (not Online Dashboard).

Square Dashboard, Account & Settings, Business, Locations, click on location you want to delete, click Deactivate

Hope This Helps!

Thanks for that advice. Now the question is - how do I know if I am in the "Dashboard" page - - (Who comes up with these opaque labels , anyway?)

Does the attached screenshot reflect the "Dashboard" ? If the option for eliminating the unpublished "store" - - or even the unused/unnecessary "location" is on this page, I do not recognize it as such...

This screenshot shows the selection dialog depicting the second unused "location" that I would like to rid myself of - any advice on accomplishing that would be most welcome!

It would seem that there would be a simple "Settings" or "Preferences" page that would offer the option of deleting the extra "store" and extra "location" but I have had no luck finding that page...

HI, the Square Dashboard is the first page you see and from the options on the left is where you find Account & Settings (it may be in a different order on your page).

Thanks for that shot. I have been as deep into those Settings as possible, I think, and the "store" choice does not seem to be available. I was able to find a page to edit the locations - but of course, no option to DELETE the unused location. I was able edit the name to make it more obvious that I am not using it, but that still is more cluttered than it seems it should be.

Somehow I get the impression that there is no attempt to improve user interface, either for the user/Square Customer or the end user/client. Am I alone in that sense?
