I set up a dining option called cash on my square account so that it won't charge a service fee if the customer pays cash. However, when i start a transaction on the Ipad, add one of my items and select cash, the tax does not change. How is this supposed to work? How do I effectively use the dining option tax rules.

Hello @UsborneLady!
Dining options work in tandem with conditional sales tax rules. So if you want a sales tax to be removed for certain sales, you need to set up a tax rule for that.
This Support Center article has the steps to set up conditional sales tax rules. If you have any other questions, please let me know!

@UsborneLady, you can check your Transaction's Report to see if it's working for your cash transactions. If you click on the transaction it will show you a break down of the taxes towards the bottom. You can compare it against your credit card transactions.
