Customer can't schedule pick up when using ApplePay or Google Pay.

Hi,
Has anyone else noticed that when you complete an order using an "auto-fill" payment method such as ApplePay, GPay, or a Square Account that the option to schedule a pick-up is skipped/not an option and that the order is placed for the next available pick-up time? Is this an issue or did I set something up incorrectly?

Hi @Greenhead- Thanks for checking in on this one.
I ran this by one of our Weebly specialists- what you're seeing is intentional behavior. Sorry about that. BUT the good news is that the team is planning on adding the "schedule for later" option to those payment methods. I don't have an exact timeline, but I can confirm it's in the works.

I have my square site enabled so that the buyer can pick a pickup date and time. However, when the user selects Google or Apple Pay, the sale is completed immediately and there is not an option to change the default pickup (which is 15 minutes after open).
Is there a way to set it up so that Google and Apple Pay users can still customize their own pickup times?

Thank you! Because of this we have opted not to allow Apple or Google Pay. This could be pretty annoying to those trying to order ... especially because the form is so lengthy and the button click to Apple Pay is so simple.
But we cant have every order default to immediate pickup and that hurts our pitch of suggesting they can pick their own time and date. We are a prepared dessert shop and cant make an order now when they dont want it until Saturday 🙂
