I’m wondering if I can send a customer directly to check out after adding a product to their cart? I’m seeing analytics that people viewing my website are adding my product to their cart, but not completing the purchase. I’m trying to figure out if this is the disconnect, and if I can send them straight to checkout. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey there Trucktraining,
I don't think there's a disconnect - potential customers or clients do sometimes change their minds on their decisions for whatever reason (could be a bad internet connection or they simply moved on) - it's not uncommon. By design when a buyer adds an item to the Cart, the design behind the scenes is allow the customer to continue shopping because they can buy more items (which is better for you) however, they do have the option to View the cart and decide if at that point they want to check out. This is the way most if not all online shopping is programmed.
If your requirements are to have a customer go directly to the checkout process, then setting up your item as a "Buy Now" option would work as there's no Shopping Cart feature per say.
You have to decide, do I want to offer my customers the option to purchase additional items or am I focused on only selling 1 item. Selling 1 item takes them directly to the Checkout while selling multiple items requires a Cart and the option to Checkout or continue shopping. At least that's my experience. (Hope that makes sense ....)

Thanks for your response! Didn’t realize there was a buy now button.

Problem is, you can't use a Buy Now button if youre trying to set up items for pickup only.
