Can't Activate My Account

it showed "there was a problem activating your account" but didt tell me what the problem is. 

What i can do for the next step?

You'll want to head to your Account & Settings tab in the Dashboard. Click Business > Locations and you can change it there.

my site seems to be published, but the "activate account" button just keeps taking me to the oops page. Also no taxes seem to be being added to my checkout anywhere. I dont know if these issues are related but I need help PLEASE. 

P.S. also not sure why it published w/out the activate section allowing access

@luvz2mix Is this still ongoing from yesterday? Your account looks fully activated, from my end, so I just want to make sure we are looking at the same thing. 🙂

 

If you're still experiencing the issue, is this only for the online store that you're being told to activate your account?

For those having trouble validating there account and getting really frustrated i was having the same issues with the website. Checked, rechecked and validated info again and again and still found the end result to fail. Tried instead to activate my account by downloading the app on google play to my ios device. Registered, validated and activated account first try. I recommend that route!

I know how urgent it can be to activate your card and gain access to funds, so i'm happy to assist so that you are up and running right away.

Here are the steps to activate a Square Card:

 

To activate your Square Card from your Square app:

From your Square app go to Balance > Square Card.

Tap Activate physical card and enter the confirmation code sent to the email address associated to your Square account.

Once your account has been verified, connect your reader and swipe your Square Card, or enter your card details manually.

To activate your Square Card from your online Square Dashboard:

From your online Square dashboard, navigate to Balance.

Click on Square Card > Activate physical card.

Enter the confirmation code sent to the email address associated with your Square account.

Once your account has been verified, enter your Square Card CVV and expiration date.

Create your 4-digit PIN > Done.

I can see the US flag next to your Seller Community name, so it seems you have created a US Square account and therefore, you're being asked to submit the information required to activate a Square account in this country.

If you are not truly located in the US, which country are you in?
