Can enter customer info but the checkout wont let him proceed

We have connected square to our wordpress website. We have conducted 9 tests all except one were successful. In this one case the customer could enter his info but the checkout wont let hom proceed. Looking over the failed transaction the note said Square Payment Failed (Status code CVV_FAILURE: Authorization error: ‘CVV_FAILURE’) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

Has anyone come across this kind of issue before. Sorry new to square and was there a solution to it

Hi @the_answer,

I believe that means that the 3 digits on the back of the card were entered incorrectly.
