Always trouble with MassageBook

I have just a couple minutes between the time that I’m done with the massage and the time my client is ready to check out.  I use MassageBook to check out, make sure Bluetooth is on and the Square reader is on and running and go through the steps needed to accept a debit card payment and nine times out of ten I get a “Something went wrong” or a constant “connect card reader to device”.  It’s so frustrating and embarrassing.  What’s the problem? I don’t have time to reboot my iPad and log out and log back in to MassageBook and then log back into Square.  Please help!

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties especially when you're strapped for time.  Here's the customer service email and phone number to MassageBook.  Since they're integrated with Square they may perhaps be able to view your account and get a handle on what's causing the glitch.

I'm having this same issue! I bought the Bluetooth Square reader and when I go to checkout people, usually my first client of the day or if I've had an extended gap in my day, there's a 50/50 chance that Massagebook just won't find the Square card reader. It will say its connected to my iPad in the Bluetooth setting, but the Massagebook app just won't find it as if its off. I have to always close the app and start the process over and if I've had to add a discount or anything, its so annoying to have to go back through all the steps. Thankfully, one app closure and start over is all its ever taken but since you're also using the same set up I am, it sounds like its something to do with the ipad/massagebook/square connection.
