After purchasing products in online store (from square), the items remain in the cart
I'm getting complaints from frequent shoppers that after they purchase in our online store the products they previously added to the cart are left in their cart.
Surely after a purchase cycle we should clear out their cart.
Once they have purchased 3 x product y they should not have to come back to the cart and still see the 3 x product y in the cart again.
Any solutions to this?

That sounded strange to me, as the items should be cleared from the cart once your customer checks out.
I tested this on my end, and after the purchase is made the items are being removed as expected.
Was this still happening?

Yes and I am getting a lot complaints about it.
