I can't imagine this feature would work very well, but I am interested in trying it out. However, despite reading the help files and everything, this feature appears to be absent from my Square for Retail Plus account. On the page where Square says there is a way to toggle on and off aAuto-Generate purchase orders, it just isn't there. What am I missing?

The ability to automatically-generate Purchase Orders is currently unavailable while our team makes improvements to the feature. Sellers are encouraged to manually create Purchase Orders while these improvements take place. The process for manually generating Purchase Orders remains the same.
As soon as there’s an update on this, we’ll be sure to let our Sellers know. In the meantime, I’ve reached out to our Content Team requesting the information on our Support Center be updated.

@Katie_SQ Any update on when the auto-generated POs will be back? My ordering time has almost doubled without this feature, and as we head into the busiest time of year, getting this help back should be a top priority. Thanks!

I recently started using Square for Retail because I was excited to use the automatic purchase order feature along with advanced reporting for our apparel sales. It's a huge pain trying to keep our items in stock consistently so this would be a game changer.
The issue? It doesn't exist. Despite being listed as a feature in the paid version. I've contacted Square and talked to multiple customer service representatives but no one seems to know where it is or how it works. So I'm turning to my community for advice.
Does it exist? Do any of you have access to this feature or is it just a fake feature they're listing to get people to pay for the service?
If you do have it, does it actually help or work? I'm trying to figure out if the paid version is worth the money.

Hey @bennyboybrewing. It seems that it does exist, but that there have been technical issues with the auto-generation part. According to a reply by @Katie_SQ to this post, this feature was made unavailable while the engineers work on it.
I tagged Katie so that she can add your thread to the ones notified when she has updates. I hope that helps.
