Stamps.com and Square

We have Stamps.com.

We want to ship with Stamps.com.

Stamps.com says we CAN integrate Stamps.com with our online Square store. They even have instructions on how to do it on their help site.

I followed Stamps.com's instructions and got an Invalid Square State (???) error message.

 

Is there a way to integrate Stamps.com with our online Square store? 

Is it me? Am I doing something wrong?

Or do I need to upgrade to the $29 plan for this to work? is that why it's not working?

 

this is very frustrating. thanks for any help.

Since they're a third party you'll need to reach out to them about the integration and see if they can help you get it connected.

they think the problem is on Square's end bec of the error message I'm getting. So i'm on hold with a technician and also waiting to chat with Square. No one seems to know. 

 

I am really amazed to see that no one has asked about Stamps.com before. Must just be me. thanks!

Did you happen to get this question resolved? We're attempting to connect Square to Stamps right now (for the past couple of weeks) and also continue to get the:

 

"Invalid Square session state

If this problem continues, please call Customer Support at[Redacted] Monday – Friday, 6 am – 6 pm Pacific Time."

Well Joe it looks like I MAY have done it! I will have to wait until I get a proper order through and can try to go through the process to see if it works but....

 

All I did was try to connect the Stamps.com ONLINE portal to my square account instead of the desktop program. 

 

That is the only difference, so maybe an issue with the desktop program. I did uninstall and reinstall with same results. So maybe try the online settings to add the store instead?

Hello.  I was told by support chat to start a topic about integration with Stamps.com here in the community.  As a part of a band, our merchandise (cd's, LP's...) qualify as media mail and Stamps.com is the only online shipping servicer that can do media mail.  Not having that integration takes a ton of time to manually enter every sale. 

 

I have tried Shippo and others and the integration is amazing but they do not allow the use of media mail so back to stamps.com.

 

Is this a necessity for anyone else?

Ok, thanks.  Glad I'm not the only one who needs this integration.  Not sure I understand what worked for her though.  I've only ever used the online portal and never knew there was a desktop app.  But I am on a Mac so maybe that's the issue?

Thanks for the link.  Now I'm not getting an error message, but not getting anything at all.  I click "authorize" but it doesn't add or give me the option to make a store nickname or anything.

 

Seems so strange to have these 2 companies not working together to make e-commerce smooth and effective.

Yea, we're still having connecting issues as well. Processing payments through our website is great, but we just can't get stamps to connect to Square. A real PITA if you ask me, I'm tired of entering every single order by hand into the system to ship out the order. Paypal to stamps is working great, I just can't get Square to integrate properly with stamps.com. I too am using a Mac and only use the online system to try and connect. Still no luck on this end.
