Square Register and Loyalty program

I just received both Square Registers that I ordered and they look great! 
 I also have Square for Retail, which is also great because I need the extra features that it provides and I have Loyalty and Marketing from Square. 
But...here’s the problem. I purchased the Square Registers hoping my customers could sign themselves in with the Loyalty program before checkout but the only way it will work is if I revert back to regular, standard Square POS. I don’t want to do that because I need Square for Retail. 

Is there a way that Square can add this feature to Square for Retail very soon?

If not, a I guess I can just cancel Retail and just make regular Square POS work. 
My customers love the Loyalty program and it’s way more convenient to have them sign in from the Square Register customer screen.

I checked in again just to be sure but it appears Loyalty is not yet available for Retail and Restaurants sadly.

I was trying to find another thread where this may of been requested before but couldn't find any existing ones so I'll make sure the team sees your request for it here. Hopefully this is something we'll be able to offer for Retail in the near future.

Thanks for your response but I'm sad to say that I'm returning my Square Registers. They look so good but there are a couple of things missing, software wise, that I can do with an iPad that I can't do with the Square Registers. I hate it but it has to be done. I just don't understand how the iOS app can work better than the actual Square Register.

Can you provide an update on when customer facing sign in for loyalty will be available in Square for Retail on the Register as it is for Square Point of Sale?

The fact that Retail is an upcharge, but is missing a feature of POS is very confusing.

There are now new updates on Customer facing Loyalty sign in on Square for Retail on the Register at this time. I will surface this once more to our product team so they can let us know if there is any roadmap or estimated time when this feature is expected to be available.

I am also interested in this feature. I was very disappointed that square POS has this but Square for Retail does not. On another note, the square official register should have the same or more features than someone using a ipad. 

I hope this feature becomes available soon.

Ive been using the regular POS with Square Register and Loyalty, and I had NO idea that check-in was not available with Square for Retail. This really seems unusual because you think something branded "for Retail" would include something so fundamental as Loyalty program integration. I'm glad I got advanced warning; I won't be using the Retail version until this would be available. Or maybe if I discontinue use of the Loyalty Program, but the way the Customer Facing Screen works with Square POS and Loyalty is amazing and makes my business look really professional and state of the art (from my customer's perspective).

im confused .. Loyalty does work for square for retail.

it does NOT work for square register in the UK.

have you got loyalty working on square register???

Maybe you’re in the US?
