I buy used clothing from customers is there a way to do this from the p.o.s system . Just so my drawer is correct and I can give them a receipt also so it shows on the reports

I moved your post to a thread in the Community that has a few different sellers who also own consignment shops and how they best use the software. 

If none of these work, I searched "Consignment Store" on the Community as well and there's a bunch of other threads with different options you can explore also!

You might make use of our take-in receipt. This shows an account set to 100% as you are buying outright instead of splitting the sale.

You would print this and provide it to them. You would then do a payout in Square (cash management must be turned on). And record the payout amount at the register.

When you sell those items that were created in Rose, you then get detailed sales tracking of that particular category (tops, bottoms, purses, shoes, etc) within Square's dashboard and within Rose you will detailed tracking of a vendor's sales that you can compare to others to see how each vendor produces for your business.  While Rose was designed for consignment, setting the split % to 100 gives you the sales tracking you are looking for. Inventory created in Rose is automatically sent to your Square POS for sale at the register. Those sales are then captured back in Rose for your tracking needs.

Hey Square Sellers

I have been approached by a local consignment boutique recently and want to start a business relationship to help the local area and to grow my business.  I am currently tracking inventory on square that also feeds my online inventory.  Does anyone have some suggestions on how to manage inventory with a consignment store?  The agreement that this boutique is wanting to do is we send them products and they will act as our proxy and sell our products and payout monthly our cut - so this is going to be an inventory challenge.
