- Does anyone know if the engineering department or anyone at Square would be able to help with undoing an Item Catalog like 12 hours prior?
I have no idea what happened but we sold our boutique and I exported our entire item library. I had two tabs open, one signed into our square account and the other signed into the new square account. I went to import the library into the new square account (that currently had zero items in it). After uploading, I went back to our current square account and ALL of the quantities on our account showed 0. Since I just exported our library, I went back in to import the library in hopes it would go back to exactly what we exported a couple minutes ago. Long story short, it uploaded half of our items but the other half were not uploaded because the variations “are already in the system”. That’s because its sizes. So yes, we have the same variations on 90% of our items, being small-2X. I can’t figure out how to fix that issue.
That being said, what can I do so the new owners inventory isn’t all messed up.

The best thing to do since I am just seeing this is call Customer Support Monday since today is Friday and I do not think support is in on Weekends. If you know the Time you want this to go back to they should be able to do this.
Now you having Item Grey T-Shirt and item Red T-Shirt both with Variations of Small, Medium, Large, 2XL and 3XL for example would not cause an issue as each Items Variation has a Uniquie Token and a Unigue Refrence Handle in a Excel XLSX or CSV Export. So somehow these Token or refrence handles got mixed up. Look at the original that you downloaded and make sure these are unigue for each Line, especially ones that are wrong.
