Appointments gives false availability on browser refresh

I have encountered a major flaw in appointments. If you start the scheduling process thru the website booking button and reach the calendar, then do a browser refresh, it shows a wide open calendar as bookable, with no regard to other appointments scheduled. This leads to bookings in unavailable times and double bookings. 

 

By default I would think a browser refresh should either take the person back to the start of the booking process or worst case scenario show no availability rather than full availability. 

 

This bug does need a fix. For now we have turned on appointments requiring a confirmation so we can verify availability and no double bookings.

I'll start with a possibly silly question: what web browser are you using? We recommend Google Chrome when accessing the Square Dashboard. It may also help to run through these other browser troubleshooting steps - sometimes clearing your cache is all your browser needs to start running smoothly!

 

If you're using the most up-to-date version of Chrome, and these steps don't get you where you need to be, I'd recommend reaching out directly to our Appointments team. They can dig a bit deeper to pinpoint the root cause of what you're seeing than we're able to here!
