courses firing randomly

We use Square for Restaurants with coursing (course 1, course 2, hold, fire, etc) but this year, we have noticed courses randomly changing from "hold" to "fired" without any server input. It has happened to different servers, bartenders, different POS stations and sections, etc. It seems to be completely random. When the status of a course switches to "fired" by themself, the kitchen does not get a fire ticket. So if nobody realizes that it was a "phantom fire", we end up with a course which does not actually get picked up by the kitchen. Anyone else experience this?
