Restaurant to KDS printing errors

We're running SFR on iOS 17.5.1 and Square KDS on current Samsung Android. Since the iOS update to 17.5.1, we've been experiencing Kitchen print jobs "not printing" from the SFR POS. Most of the time the POS shows a print job error, but sometimes not. Sometimes the POS shows a print  error when the job has actually printed.

The POS, KDS, and Kitchen Printers connect via secure closed high speed wifi mesh network. There is virtually no traffic on the wifi or network.

Can someone explain the print job hand-off and confirmation process?

Does it all occur on our internal system?

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

We have been running SFR and KDS for three years. This situation is driving us nuts.

We have had this issue as well and our workaround was to setup all kitchen printing to go through the POS instead.  Inconvenient to reprint tickets but it's the only thing that worked for us, and also we are a very small restaurant.  When we got the new android tablet it just wouldn't print to the bluetooth printer and the POS on the iPad does.  I miss our iPad pro and how it interfaced!  Too bad they stopped supporting iOS on KDS!!
