Disable Search Option on POS or limit Category access

We run several different Menu's for different events, or even the occasional Concession/Food Truck event. This has caused duplicate items as we've created similar items in different categories at different price points.

Is there a way to limit the categories that are accessible through the POS or a way to disable the search option?

We run into items not printing to the kitchen or showing higher numbers for events due to servers selecting incorrect items because they're searching and not using the built menu.
