Square Terminal "Net Sales" for the year is different than "Net Sales" on the app.

The amount shown on the Square Terminal last night (June 30) when we closed at the end of the day was one amount. Today when we opened, the amount shown on the Terminal was over $1000 less than it reported yesterday. Additionally, the amount showing for the year on my app, remained at the higher dollar figure. What's going on?
