Tip reports based on sales report not Team code number

I get how to generate Tips report using Team Sales but that assumes our baristas entered their code every time they ran a transaction. They don't, and often there are 2 baristas on bar and the same code is used all day, they don't log out/in every time they take a sale.

We have been generating tips report by exporting our Sales Report into its own spreadsheet and allocating each day's tips to the staff working that day, sometimes 1 barista sometimes 2.

There must be an easier way to calculate this or run a tips report to show Tips for each day and not show all the other sales info. But the Team Sales code doesn't work for us because each transaction just isn't coded to a specific team member.

Thanks for any hints.

@Radio1 if you are using team management you can have it pool tips by hours worked per day and get an easy report allocating tips to everyone clocked in that was eligible that day for tips.  This is the easiest way.   I prefer to do it by the week so that the effort for the week is split between everyone who has worked based on the hours worked.  That being said, our staff are paid above market wage to start with, so the tips is icing on the cake so to speak, but it matters.

I know on the daily sales reports tips are broken out on a single line item.
